This research aims to identify and analyze risk factors and protective factors, especially family and peer environments in individuals who have experienced dating violence. This study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach, with an interview method. This study was conducted using a snowball sampling technique with a sample of 3 people. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns and themes related to risk factors and protective factors. The results of the study indicate that family and peer environments play an important role in decision making in individuals who have experienced dating violence. Family and friends have a very influential impact on someone who experiences dating violence. A good family and peer environment is a protective factor for an individual who experiences dating violence, conversely a bad family and friendship environment are risk factors that make individuals more likely to become victims of dating violence.
