dc.description.abstractThe amount of demands faced by thesis students requires greater effort in completing all tasks or projects with maximum results. This results in students needing high grit to remain able to survive. One of the things that affects individuals in surviving to keep completing all their tasks is due to differences in individual mindset. This research aims to determine the difference in grit in terms of the type of mindset in thesis students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of North Sumatra. This study uses a quantitative approach with a comparative method. The population in this study were students who were preparing a thesis from the class of 2018, 2019, and 2020. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling and obtained a research sample of 116 students. Data collection using a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed using one way ANOVA. Based on the results of data analysis obtained sig value. = 0.145 > 0.05, which means that there are no differences in grit in terms of the type of mindset of thesis students at the Faculty of Psychology, University of North Sumatra.en_US
