The decision to use new technology can be reviewed through the Technology
Acceptance Model (TAM), through the dimensions of perceived usefulness and
perceived ease of use and usage attitudes related to an application. One of the
learning tools that students can use is the google classroom application. There
are still few students who are proficient in using google classroom, including
among students at the University of North Sumatra. This study involved 401
respondents who used google classroom, by filling out a measuring instrument for
the attitude of using google classroom, perceived usefulness, and perceived
convenience which was constructed by the researcher and team. The results of
multiple linear regression analysis show that perceived usefulness and perceived
convenience have a significant role in the attitude of using google classroom. The
coefficient of determination (R Square) shows a value of 0.623, meaning that the
attitude of using google classroom is influenced by perceived usefulness and
perceived convenience of 62.3% with a p value of <.001 (<0.05). The results
showed a significant positive relationship between the perceived usefulness and
perceived convenience variables on the attitude of using google classroom.
