    Abstract
    Human resources, particularly employees with high work quality, are a vital element in the success of a company. High work quality can be achieved when employees experience sufficient job satisfaction. At PT Huta Bayu Marsada, the researcher observed a decline in job satisfaction among employees, which has led to turnover intention and, ultimately, resignations. It was hypothesized that inadequate quality of work life and decreasing work motivation could be the causes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between the variables of Quality of Work Life and Work Motivation with Job Satisfaction. Additionally, the study aims to investigate the influence of these two variables on the declining performance phenomenon at PT Huta Bayu Marsada. The research employed a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 58 employees using a total sampling technique, supplemented by secondary data such as books and previous studies. The data was analyzed using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing as tools for interpretation. The results of the study indicated that Quality of Work Life and Work Motivation significantly influence Job Satisfaction, with correlation and influence levels of 78.2% and 59.8%, respectively. The findings further revealed that inappropriate inspirational motivation and an overly aggressive competitive culture were key factors contributing to the decline in employee performance.
