Introduction: Compressive neuropathy is a group of injuries to peripheral nerves that often have pathophysiological factors and normal anatomic sites that press on the nerves. CTS is the most famous entrapment neuropathy which caused by compression of the median nerve at the wrist and is the most common peripheral nerve compression disorder. This research seeks to compare clinical function between different dose of Triamcinolone by using Boston Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Questionnaire. Methods: This study includes patients who had undergone CTS injections at H. Adam Malik General Hospital. Primary and secondary data were used to measure the scale of symptom severity and functional status based on the BCTQ. For statistical analysis we use paired T-test if the data distribution is normal or Mann-Whitney if it’s not normal. Results: The 20mg Triamcinolone group shows the highest level of symptom severity scale reported before injection was moderate (57.14%); after injection 1 month were mild (50%); after injection 3 months were mild (64.28%); and after injection 6 months was normal (64.28%). The 40mg Triamcinolone group shows the highest level of functional status severity reported before injection was moderate (42.85%); after injection 1 month were mild (42.85%); after injection 3 months were mild (42.85%); after injection 6 months was normal (42.85%). Based on the Friedman test of 20mg and 40mg triamcinolone injection, both has significant difference between before and after injection based on severity scale and functional status BCTQ with p-value of 0.001 (p<0.05). Conclusion: Carpal tunnel injection with Triamcinolone acetonide 20 mg and 40 mg can provide good clinical outcomes in cases of carpal tunnel syndrome and can reduce the severity of symptoms and provide a good scale of hand functional status. It is recommended to start with a lower dose of triamcinolone first.en_US
