dc.description.abstractIn the era of industrial digitalization, companies are required to keep up with the times by implementing aspects of information and communication technology (ICT) to improve management efficiency and productivity. Employee cards are one form of ICT implementation in the company. However, there are still companies that still use traditional employee cards that only contain employee identity and have no other functions. This research is conducted in companies that still use traditional employee cards to implement automatic employee cards using the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) method with a unique ID on the card. This card can be used by companies for various employee needs, one of which is to record employee attendance. The attendance data is then forwarded into an employee attendance information message notification via Telegram bot using the help of Telegram API (Application Programming Interface). The process of recording attendance is done by employees tapping the card on the mifare RC522 RFID reader module. The attendance data stored in the website database is then forwarded in real-time to the Telegram bot of users who have registered with the system. The research results show that the introduction and implementation of digitalization in companies in terms of attendance recording using the RFID method becomes easier and can be monitored by companies in real-time with the presence of employee attendance notification features via the Telegram bot. Thus, the automatic employee attendance card system using the RFID method based on IoT (Internet of Things) synchronized with Telegram is expected to be an alternative solution that benefits companies in implementing digitalization aspects in their attendance recording process.en_US
