    Analysis of Depressive, Anxiety and Stress Syndrome with Smartphone Addiction in Clinical Clerkship

    Abstract
    Background: A student must go through several stages of education t o become a doctor . Doctor Professional Ed ucation Program is the final clinical stage that is passed to become a doctor. Many changes that occur in entering this clinical stage. The use of smart phones smart phones are needed for lectures and communication. Several studies have linked between depr essive, anxiety and stress syndrome with smartphone addiction. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the association between depressive syndrome, anxiety and stress and smartphone addiction in clinical clerkship. Methods : This study is a cross section al study, with 151 subjects of FK USU Clinical Clerkship from December 2023 to February 2024. The questionnaire used Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale 21 (DASS 21) and Smartphone Addiction Scale Short Version (SAS SV) which have been validated in Indon esian. Completion of demographic characteristics and questionnaires through gform and statistical analysis using SPSS. Results: In bivariate analysis, there was a significant difference in the demographic characteristics of the duration of smartphone use w ith smartphone addiction, the value of p=0.009. There is a significant difference from depressive syndrome with addiction, p<0.001. There is a significant difference of anxiety syndrome with smartphone addiction, p=0.001. There is a significant difference between stress syndrome with smartphone addiction, p=0.001. In multivariate analysis, there is a significant difference in mild stress syndrome with smartphone addiction p=0.009, OR CI 95% 9.326 (1.729 50.302), there is a significant difference in severe s tress syndrome with smartphone addiction p=0.006, OR CI 95% 10.293 (1.972 53.723), there is a significant difference in smart phone operating system with smartphone addiction p=0.022. OR IK 95% 2,441 (1,135 5,251). Conclusion: There is a significant differe nce between duration of smartphone use, depressive syndrome, anxiety syndrome and stress syndrome with smartphone addiction in bivariate analysis. There are significant differences smart phone operating system, mild and severe stress syndrome with smartphon e addiction on multivariate analysis.
