    Abstract
    Adolescence is a developmental phase that marks the transition from childhood to adulthood, typically ranging from ages 13 to 21, during which individuals achieve mental, emotional, social, and physical maturity. This period involves significant changes in psychosocial, cognitive, moral, spiritual, and social aspects, influenced by the social support system, which plays a crucial role in enhancing self-motivation abilities (self-efficacy). This study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive design to determine frequencies and percentages. The population and sample of this study comprise 90 eleventh-grade students from SMA Dharma Pancasila Medan, selected through total sampling. The result indicate that 83 adolescents (92,2%) have high peer social support and 84 adolescents (93,3%) exhibit high self-efficacy. Spearman’s rho correlation analysis reveals a significant relationship between peer social support and adolescents self-efficacy (r = 0,733; P = 0,000; P < 0,05). Thus, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Peer social support significantly enhances self-efficacy among adolescents at SMA Dharma Pancasila Medan.
