Perancangan Gedung Kantor PT. Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) Cabang Medan

Abstract

Nowadays, several insurance companies in the field of credit guarantee have begun to emerge. One of the companies in the field of credit guarantee is the Office of Perum Jamkrindo. Jamkrindo has a vision to become the leading guarantor company that supports the development of the national economy. From this vision, Perum Jamkrindo wants to become a trusted partner in credit guarantee and help improve the economy by succeeding in UMKM business activities. So Perum Jamkrindo wants to facilitate the business activities of its partners. To achieve all of that, the Perum Jamkrindo Office must provide optimal services to users of credit guarantee services. Medan is one of the locations where PT Jamkrindo built its new branch office. Currently, PT Jamkrindo already has a land located at JI. Sei Serayu No. 40, Babura Sunggal Village, Medan Sunggal District, Medan City. The method used in this design is by following the design KRK instructions, location survey, data collection by observation, documentation, literature study, and comparative study of projects that have similar themes and projects, which are then used to analyze data, formulate design concepts, and adjust design designs and present design results for the design of the Medan Branch Jamkrindo Building. So the design will apply Neo-Vernacular architecture of Batak culture. The context of archipelago architecture to visualize the characteristics and identity of the city of Medan while maintaining and preserving local culture is applied to the vertical zoning division of the building and on the roof of the building as a shade with an elevated typology.
