dc.description.abstract | This study aims to determine the effect of emotion regulation on bullying and the moderating effect of religiosity on the relationship between emotion regulation and bullying among high school students in faith-based schools. The study uses a causal quantitative research method. The subjects of this research include 308 students, selected using cluster random sampling. Data collection was conducted using a Likert scale with measurement tools including the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), the Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire-Revised (OBVQ-R), and the Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS). The collected data was analyzed using moderation regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) emotion regulation has a negative and significant effect on bullying among high school students in faith-based schools (p-value = 0.000 < 0.05); (2) religiosity does not moderate the effect of emotion regulation on bullying among these students (p-value = 0.349 > 0.05). The implications of this research provide information to maintain and enhance emotion regulation to prevent bullying in school environments. | en_US |
