Tipe Kepribadian Conscientiousness pada Generasi Z Pengguna Generative Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study that aims to see the description of Conscientiousness personality type in generation z users of Generative Artificial Intelligence. The participants in this study involved students of the University of North Sumatra who are generation z with ages 14-29 years and are users of generative artificial intelligence totalling 345 participants. Questionnaires using the International Personality Item Pool Big-Five Factor Marker-25 (IPIP BFM-25) with incidental sampling techniques. Based on the results obtained, no significant differences were found in conscientiousness personality type based on gender and age groups that have been classified. Research results based on gender cannot be classified into categorisation levels. Of all faculties at USU that have high conscientiousness is the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) with an average score of 23.10. Generation z, namely USU students, use Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) more to find information and help with assignments because GAI is creative and innovative.
