This study aims to examine the relationship between happiness and place attachment in Tebing Tinggi City Park visitors. The subjects of this study were 154 park visitors consisting of 85 men and 69 women. Data were collected through a Likert scale, with a measuring instrument for the happiness variable by Argyle and a measuring instrument for the place attachment variable by William Vaske. Normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed with a significance value of 0.200 (p > 0.05). The Spearman's rank correlation test revealed a correlation value of 0.747 with a significance level of 0.001 (p < 0.05), which indicates that there is a significant and positive relationship between happiness and place bonding. That is, the higher one's level of happiness, the stronger the place bond felt towards the city park. Furthermore, the categorization results showed that 73.38% of the subjects had a moderate level of place bonding, while 100% of the subjects had a high level of happiness. This finding indicates that visitors to Tebing Tinggi City Park generally feel happy and have a fairly strong bond to the place. The happiness felt by visitors is often influenced by positive experiences while in the park, including adequate facilities and quality social interactions.en_US
