Evaluasi Psikometri Aitem Subtes Deduktif Numerik Pada USU General Reasoning Test

Abstract

USU General Reasoning Test (UGRT) is a test used to measure an individual's reasoning ability or intelligence. This study aims to evaluate the deductive numerical items, specifically the Solving Equation (DN 1) and Arithmetic Reasoning (DN 2) subtests of the USU General Reasoning Test (UGRT), using the rasch model, which includes unidimensionality, item fit, item measure, wright map, and reliability. This research uses secondary data obtained from participants of the P3M test at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The UGRT was administered in a classical format to 824 samples aged 15 to 60 years, divided into four sets: A, B, C, and D. The psychometric evaluation results of the Solving Equation and Arithmetic Reasoning subtests showed good categories in terms of unidimensionality, item measure, Wright map, and item reliability. There items in the Solving Equation subtest found to be unfit, including item 6 in set B, item 2 in set C, and item 4 in set D. Additionally, the person reliability scores were low for both the Solving Equation and Arithmetic Reasoning subtests. This study suggests revising the three unfit items and expanding the sample size with greater variation to improve the reliability of the UGRT.
