This study examines the turnover intention among Generation Z employees in Medan, focusing on the impact of job satisfaction. Turnover intention is defined as the voluntary desire of employees to leave their current job, which is a significant concern for organizations today. Generation Z, individuals born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s, represent a vital segment of the current workforce. They are characterized by high technological proficiency and a preference for flexible work environments. The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing a sample of Generation Z employees aged 20-28 in Medan, selected through simple random sampling. Data on job satisfaction were collected using the Job Satisfaction Scale (JSS), while turnover intention was measured using a Likert scale adapted from Mobley, Horner, and Hollingworth (1978). The results indicate a high turnover intention among Generation Z employees in Medan, significantly influenced by their job satisfaction levels. This finding suggests that the unique characteristics and expectations of Generation Z, shaped by rapid technological advancements, contribute to their tendency to seek more flexible and less structured work environments.en_US
