| dc.description.abstract | Bullying among students is a serious issue that can negatively affect both the physical and psychological well-being of students. This phenomenon frequently occurs among various groups within school environments, including students in religious-based senior high schools. Peer social support is one factor that can influence bullying. Religiosity is used as a moderating variable in this study, as individuals with higher levels of religiosity tend to display positive behavior. This research aims to determine the effect of peer social support on bullying and whether religiosity moderates the relationship between peer social support and bullying among students in religious-based senior high schools. The study employs a quantitative causal research method, with a sample size of 308 students. Data were collected using a Likert scale, including the Social Support Scale, the OBVQ-R (Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire-Revised) bullying scale, and the Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS). The data were analyzed using moderation regression analysis techniques. The results show that peer social support has a significant negative effect on bullying among students in religious-based senior high schools, with a significance value of 0.000. However, religiosity does not moderate the effect of peer social support on bullying among these students, with a significance value of 0.731. This study is expected to serve as a foundation for schools in designing more effective bullying prevention strategies through enhancing peer social support in the school environment. | en_US |
