Peran Religiusitas terhadap Quarter-Life Crisis pada Fresh Graduate di Kota Medan
The Role of Religiosity in Quarter-Life Crisis in Fresh Graduates in Medan City
Abstract
This study aims to examine the role of religiosity in quarter-life crisis among fresh
graduates in Medan City. The research adopts a quantitative approach involving 104
subjects. The findings reveal that religiosity plays a significant and negative role in
quarter-life crisis, indicating that the higher a person’s level of religiosity, the lower
the level of quarter-life crisis experienced. Hypothesis testing through determination
analysis shows a correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.254 and a determination
coefficient (R-squared) value of 0.064, meaning that the independent variable
provides limited information to predict the dependent variable (quarter-life crisis).
The results also indicate that all subjects have a high level of religiosity. Regarding
the quarter-life crisis variable, 94 subjects (90.38%) fall into the moderate category,
while 10 subjects (9.62%) fall into the low category. From the hypothesis testing, it
can be concluded that religiosity significantly contributes to reducing the level of
quarter-life crisis, with a negative direction of the relationship. This confirms that
religiosity can be a factor in alleviating symptoms of quarter-life crisis..
