Identitas Nasional pada Generasi Z Berdasarkan Keputusan Memilih atau Tidak Memilih dalam Pemilihan Umum 2024
National Identity among Generation Z Based on the Decision to Vote or Not Vote in the 2024 General Election
Abstract
This study aims to examine the portrayal of National Identity among Generation Z based on their decision to vote or not vote in the 2024 general elections. In this research, the number of respondents was 200 individuals. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative method. The measurement tool used was an adapted and modified scale for national identity by previous studies conducted by Hayati and Ari Widiyanta. The results of this study indicate that the national identity of Generation Z who voted was 98% in the high category, while for those who did not vote, it was 84% in the high category. This means that although the national identity of both groups falls within the high category, the voting group tends to have a higher frequency in the high category.
