Perancangan Gedung Kantor PT. Jaminan Kredit Indonesia Cabang Medan dengan Pendekatan Konsep Arsitektur Modern

Abstract

The design of the PT. Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Jamkrindo) Branch Office in Medan aims to provide a functional and representative office facility that meets the company’s needs in delivering credit guarantee services. The modern architectural approach is applied in this design to create an efficient, contemporary building that can accommodate future changes in spatial needs. Modern architecture was chosen for its design flexibility and its ability to integrate the latest construction technologies and sustainability principles. The design process began with a needs analysis, site study, and consideration of Medan’s climate, resulting in a design that is responsive to the environment. The main design concept focuses on the use of simple geometric shapes, optimal utilization of natural lighting, cross ventilation, and the use of efficient and environmentally friendly building materials. The design includes a three-story office building with a site area of 921 m², equipped with facilities such as open workspaces, customer service areas, meeting rooms, recreation areas for employees, and adequate parking space. The design also considers accessibility for people with disabilities and integrates landscaping to create a comfortable and productive working environment. The office building is expected to improve the operational efficiency of PT. Jamkrindo's Medan Branch, provide comfort for employees and clients, and reflect the company’s modern and professional image. With its modern architectural approach, this building is anticipated to become a new landmark that supports business development in Medan.
