dc.description.abstractThe application of IoT in an automatic fire alarm system using fuzzy logic is the aim of this research. DHT22 temperature sensor, IR fire sensor, smoke sensor (MG-2), 5v water pump, buzzer, breadboard, LED, jumper cables, ESP32 and telegram chatbot are used in this system. This early warning framework is intended to distinguish and provide early warning about circumstances or conditions that may cause certain hazards or hazards, such as fire. The IR fire sensor and smoke sensor (MQ-2) function to detect fires, and the DHT22 temperature sensor is used to measure outside temperature. One of the technologies that has grown the fastest in recent years is the Internet of Things (IoT), which has enormous potential to increase the effectiveness and security of current systems. One interesting application of IoT is in the development of an automatic fire alarm system. This research aims to apply IoT in an automatic fire alarm system by using fuzzy logic method to improve the accuracy and response of the system in detecting fires. Fuzzy logic method is used to model fire conditions and environmental parameters related to fire detection. Fires occur due to heat and smoke detected by fire sensors and smoke sensors. A value of less than 750 is categorized as fire and smoke detected, with the sensor value range being 0 – 4095. If the fire sensor and smoke sensor are detected, the fire alarm will send a notification via Telegram chatbot. This algorithm uses the fuzzy logic method. Therefore, to determine the risk level, it can be seen from the level range 0.5 – 2.5. The study's findings demonstrate that integrating IoT with fuzzy logic techniques into an automatic fire alarm system can enhance the system's responsiveness, efficiency, and ability to identify fires early on, hence lowering the risks and losses associated with fires.en_US
