Klasifikasi Jenis Penyakit Kulit pada Wajah Menggunakan Metode You Only Look Once Versi 8

Abstract

Skin diseases are skin disorders in the form of irritation, inflammation, infection, or other disorders caused by infections such as fungi, germs, parasites, and viruses that can attack individuals of various age groups. Facial skin is a part of the body that has a higher risk of damage compared to other areas of the body. There are various skin problems that can affect the face, and some of them have similar colors and textures coupled with limited access to health services and a lack of public understanding of facial skin diseases. Therefore, fast and accurate treatment is needed to prevent the spread of facial skin diseases. This study implements the You Only Look Once version 8 method in creating a real-time classification system for types of facial skin diseases consisting of four types, namely acne, rosacea, eczema, and milia. The data used is 1200 images. The results of applying YOLOv8 in the classification of skin disease types on the face obtained an accuracy value of 97,5% for acne, 95% for rosacea, 97.5% for eczema, and 97.5% for milia. Based on the evaluation metric value obtained, the model can classify the type of disease well.
