    Abstract
    Healthy is a very important aspect and can be used as one of the parameters to determine the quality of a country’s human resources, as healthcare services influence the progress of a nation. Health is also crucial for individuals, as one’s level of health affects their ability to live well. Health is one of the sectors related to the development of social welfare. Therefore, health is an important aspect to be considered, as it is one of the factors in achieving a prosperous condition. Law number 11 of 2009 concerning social welfare states that health is one of the factors that determine the level of social welfare in society. This research aims to observe how the community participates in the integrated service post program in mangga subdistrict, Medan Tuntungan, using a qualitative method. The technique of selecting informants was carried out using purposive sampling, with a total of 9 informants, consisting of 1 key informan, 6 main informants, and 2 additional informants. The data collection technique involved interviews with all informants. The result of this study show that the forms of community participation in the integrated service post program in Mangga Subdistrict include contributions in the form of ideas, labor, assets, and skills. However, during the implementation of the integrated service post, there was no participation from the beneficiaries.
