    Abstract
    Family Planning Program (KB) is designed to promote maternal and child welfare, fostering happy families that serve as the foundation for a prosperous community through controlled births rates and population growth. This Research investigates the demographic characteristics of contraceptive users and non-users in Kota Rantang Village. This is a descriptive Research with a cross-sectional approach involving 61 respondents. The Research finds that among the respondents, 25 individuals are reported as contraceptive users. The majority are aged between 20- 35 years, with most wives having elementary or Junior High school education (21.31%), and working as farmers. The majority of husbands have a Senior high school education (21.31%), with a significant portion experiencing multiparity (30.06%), low monthly income per BPS standards (36.065%), demonstrating good knowledge (26.226), and having a positive attitude towards contraception (32.14%). In contrast, 36 respondents are reported as non-users of contraceptives, predominantly aged 35 years old (36.0696), with most wives having elementary or junior high school education (31.14%), and most engaged in farming. Similarly, majority of husbands have elementary or junior high school education (32.78%), with a majority experiencing multiparity (52.4596), low monthly income per BPS standards (32.78%), demonstrating poor knowledge (31.42%), and expressing a negative attitude towards contraception (30.069) Healthcare services are encouraged to implement more effective educational strategies and engaging media to increase participation in the family planning program.
