    Abstract
Success is a goal that must be achieved in a project. However, construction projects often face the challenge of delays in their implementation, which can potentially cause losses to all parties involved. Time Cost Trade-Off is one of the best ways to deal with delays, with the duration and cost optimized for the project. This research focuses on optimizing time and costs in the 2nd Floor Plate Construction Project of the Al Muwahhidin Mosque which has a hps cost of Rp. 976,917,391 with a service usage fee of Rp. 205,000,000. This project experienced a delay of 6.68% in the first week of implementation. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal time and cost before and after the implementation of Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO) through alternative additions to work duration (overtime) and the use of work shifts. This type of research is a quantitative approach with case studies, and the data obtained includes cost budget plans (rab), time schedules, unit price analysis, and project drawings. The test results show that the acceleration of project duration with the use of work shifts or shift time is better compared to the increase in work duration. Duration optimization can be achieved within 46 calendar days, with an additional cost of 0.0093% from the normal cost of Rp. 205,019,035.83. The alternative in this study provides a solution to overcome the delays that occur in the research project by considering optimal time and cost efficiency.
