Analisis Perubahan dan Kecukupan Ruang Terbuka Hijau Publik di Kecamatan Gunungsitoli

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the change of public green open space in 2016 to 2020, the availability of green open space based on the area in Gunungsitoli Subdistrict, and the availability of green open space based on the number of residents in Gunungsitoli Subdistrict. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The object in this study is the entire area of Public Green Open Space in Gunungsitoli Subdistrict. The study used Geographic Information System (GIS) applications, Ground Check Field, as well as observation. This research data source uses primary data sourced from the results of image processing in 2016 and 2020, while secondary data is population data and social condition data, so in the process of processing data needed books, journals, and thesis relevant to this research. The results showed that the Public Green Open Space in Gunungsitoli Subdistrict experienced a change from the area of Existing Public Green Open Space from 2016 by 6.6 ha to 2020 by 7.67 ha, then the broad change over 5 years amounted to 1.07 ha. Based on the Area of Public Green Open Space in Gunungsitoli Subdistrict of 6.78 ha which is adjusted to the Needs of Public Green Open Space 20% and is compared with existing conditions in 2020, the area of Public Green Open Space in Gunungsitoli Subdistrict still has a shortage of 0.89 ha.
