dc.description.abstract | Electrical power quality is an electrical power problem in the form of voltage, current or frequency deviations that result in failures or operational errors in equipment that occur in electrical energy consumers. The quality of electrical power also depends on the use of certain types of loads such as nonlinear loads and inductive loads. The result is a decrease in electrical energy efficiency and low power quality from the system. This is due to the high harmonic content and low power factor due to the increased reactive current. Harmonics produce a phenomenon caused by the operation of a nonlinear electrical load, a wave with a base frequency of 50 Hz will be formed which causes the current and voltage waveforms to become non-sinusoidal. The computer is a non-linear load that is used for the Bitcoin mining process. Bitcoin computers are used for 24 hours. Crypto miner network electricity consumption is higher than that of ordinary computer users. Active Filter design to reduce harmonic values on bitcoin computers. Calculation results of the Active Filter with a value of L = 0.0075, the results show THDi can be reduced from 76.62% before installing the Active Filter to 9.18% after installing the Active Filter. | en_US |
