    Abstract
Molluscs are animals that do not have backbones, have soft bodies with a wide distribution in various habitats. This research aims to analyze the diversity of molluscs in the Mangroe area using physical and chemical parameters in the waters. This research was conducted in the Bunga Beach Mangrove Area, Batubara Regency, North Sumatra Province from April to May 2024. The sampling location was drawn perpendicular to the beach using the purposive sampling method. Sampling by forming a plot/quadrant from a 5m x 5m paralon pipe carried out horizontally. The three research stations represent different characteristics at each research location. At the research location, the average mollusk diversity obtained based on the research results was 2.34; 2.37 and 2.37 are included in the medium category. The average value of uniformity is 2.56; 11.07 and 10.52 into the high category. The average value of mollusk dominance obtained was 0.52; 0.51 and 0.52 in the medium category. The relationship between physical and chemical parameters with mollusk diversity and mollusk diversity based on PCA analysis at Mangrove Beach is negatively correlated with temperature, brightness, nitrate phosphate and organic C while negatively with current, depth, DO, pH and salinity.
