This study aims to examine the role of self-control in relation to adolescent impulsivity in the use of the TikTok application in Medan City. The respondents consisted of 350 adolescents aged 15-21 who are active TikTok users. The research method employed is quantitative, utilizing simple regression analysis. The measurement tools used are the Barrat Impulsive Scale (BIS-II) and a selfcontrol scale based on Averill's Self Control Theory, each consisting of 20 items with reliabilities of 0.927 and 0.903, respectively. The results indicate that 65.3% of adolescents exhibit high levels of impulsive behavior, while 65.4% have moderate levels of self-control. These findings suggest that the TikTok application plays a significant role in the lives of adolescents in Medan City.en_US
