    Abstract
    Waste management with the 3R principles needs to be applied in overcoming waste problems. Waste banks are one of the strategies for implementing the 3R in waste management, as well as inviting the community to contribute to waste management by sorting from the source. This study aims to analyze waste management behavior with the 3R principles among customers of the Anyelir Waste Bank, Medan Denai Sub-district. This research uses descriptive research. The sample in this study amounted to 78 customers using random sampling technique and the object in this study was waste management at Anyelir Waste Bank, Medan Denai Sub-district. The primary data collection method was carried out by observation and interview using a questionnaire. The results showed that the level of customer knowledge was classified as sufficient as many as 44 customers (56.4%), customer attitudes were classified as sufficient as many as 41 customers (52.6%), and customer actions were classified as less as 41 customers (52.6%). Based on observations at the sorting stage, collection stage, processing stage, and final processing stage are in accordance with the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 14 of 2021. The storage stage is not yet in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. 14 of 2021. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended for Anyelir Waste Bank to conduct socialization and counseling activities for customers to improve customers' knowledge, attitudes and actions, as well as adding the availability of waste storage facilities according to their type so that the management process is more optimal.
