Effects of Employee Morale and Capability on Work Commitment and Its Implications for Organizational Citizenship Behaviour at The Head Office of Bank Sumut Medan
Abstract
This study aims to examine the influence of employee morale and capability on work commitment and its implications for organizational citizenship behavior at Bank Sumut Medan Headquarters. The object of research is employees at Bank Sumut, Medan Head Office. In this study, the population was all employees at Bank Sumut, Medan Head Office, totaling 2,217 people (except security, office boys and drivers). The sample of this research is 320 samples. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study show that morale and capability have an effect on work commitment. Morale, capability, and work commitment affect organizational citizenship behavior. Work commitment partially mediates the effect of morale and capability on organizational citizenship behavior.
