dc.description.abstract | Antenna is a component that radiates or receives radio waves, and is one of the components that plays an important role in the development of wireless telecommunications. Antenna with gain High levels are really needed by systems that require good radiation rectification, such as RADAR, satellite communications systems and WLAN systems point to point. Antenna design with gain a better one can be obtained using some method, such as an antenna array, modify the supply channel on the antenna array, and uses a metamaterial structure to focus the antenna radiation. Where is the optimization gain using an antenna array is still a better alternative, because it does not require additions layer on the antenna. In this research, an antenna design was produced planar array eight elements with varying supply configurations, namely design 1, design 2, design 3 and design 4 and distances between elements that vary from to Antenna design planar array eight optimal elements are obtained in design 4 which has a VSWR of 1.15, return loss -23 dB, and max gain 12.4 dBi at 2.46 GHz frequency. | en_US |
