Implementation of Health Services for Elementary School Age at the Bestari Petisah Health Center
Abstract
Health services at the age of basic education are part of the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in the health sector which is the main task of health centers to ensure the availability of health services for all Indonesian people, especially children at the age of basic education or children aged 7 to 15 years. The target of health services in basic education is 100%, while in the health center of the best petisah is 60%. Based on an initial survey with several health workers at the Bestari Health Center, there are still many factors that have not supported the achievement of the target, such as the distribution of health report books, health monitoring books, and health screening questionnaires that have not yet been distributed to students. This study aims to explain the availability of health center resources in the implementation of health services at the age of primary education. This type of research is descriptive, the number of informants of this study is 4 people. The results of this study show that there is no availability of report books, health monitoring books, health questionnaires due to the lack of funds and facilities from the health center, the recapitulation form has been well documented but those who get health screening still reach 60%, health workers have met the standards and are sufficient. The advice given to the health center is related to the lack of budget, the Medan City Health Office must provide a budget for each health center so that the implementation of basic education services reaches the target of 100%.
