Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Ibu Post Partum dalam Pemenuhan Edukasi ASI Eksklusif di Ruangan Maternitas RS Prof. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Universitas Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Breastfeeding is the ideal way for a mother because breast milk is the most perfect food for babies because the nutritional content is in accordance with the needs for nutritional growth of babies. In fact, many mothers experience obstacles to breastfeeding their babies exclusively for 6 months. There are several influencing factors including knowledge, psychological, physical and mental readiness of the mother, nutritious food and drinks, social culture, and health workers, even though breastfeeding is a natural condition. Efforts to overcome the obstacles experienced can be done by providing the fulfillment of exclusive breastfeeding education. Nursing care was carried out on May 20-24, 2024 to the client. The author conducts nursing care starting from assessment, analyzing problems, planning, and carrying out nursing actions and nursing evaluations that refer to the objectives and outcome criteria. The results obtained after the nursing care was carried out, the response of the two postpartum mothers was very good, gave positive feedback, and was able to increase the mother's knowledge of exclusive breastfeeding and the mother could find out how the correct position and attachment of breastfeeding. This report is expected to be additional information for postpartum mothers with exclusive breastfeeding problems so that they can overcome the problems experienced.
