| dc.description.abstract | In an increasingly advanced era and the development of human
activities. There is a need for development that can facilitate activities at
the train station. Transportation infrastructure development is a key
element in supporting economic growth and community mobility. Labuan
Medan Railway Station, which is a cultural heritage and one of the
strategic points in the regional transportation network, requires renewal
to improve its capacity and service quality. A contemporary architectural
approach was chosen in this project to create a facility that is not only
functional, but also aesthetic and environmentally friendly.
The contemporary architectural approach allows for the integration
of modern technology, the use of sustainable building materials, and a
design that is responsive to the local climate. In this development, some
of the main aspects to focus on are energy efficiency, user comfort, and
modern aesthetics. The development is expected to enhance the user
experience, accelerate the flow of passenger movements, and make a
positive contribution to the urban environment that reinforces its position
