Railways are mass public transport that can carry passengers and goods on a large scale. Railway transport has many advantages over other modes of land transport, namely large transport capacity, fast, safe, and energy efficient. Based on the increasing number of people and goods passengers to Belawan Port, the railway station needs to be upgraded. As a cultural heritage building to upgrade the building and station facilities at BLW this station must be considered so as not to reduce the values of the station building. By considering the natural conditions in this area, Biophilic architecture is used as a planning method for upgrading this station.en_US
