    Abstract
This study aimed to explore one of the library services, specifically the Children's Services, at the Humbang Hasundutan Regency Library. A qualitative research method with a descriptive approach was employed. The informants in this study consisted of three individuals: one librarian and two library staff members. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study were based on the Early Childhood Education Library National Standards as published by the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, Regulation No. 13 of 2021, Article 3C, regarding library services, which outlines four key indicators: service time, service types, literacy development, and the promotion of children's services. The children's services provided by the library included circulation services, reference services, storytelling services, and audiovisual services. The results showed that, in circulation services, children were accompanied by their parents when borrowing and returning books. The children's reference service provided a collection of children's books and games. The storytelling and reading guidance services assisted children who had not yet learned to read. Although the audiovisual services provided viewing facilities, they were not yet fully operational due to the absence of a dedicated librarian. In addition to the types of services offered, the library's literacy development programs for children attracted them to visit the library. These programs were promoted to the public through mobile libraries, social media, and invitations to children who wanted to learn and play. As a result of these activities, children became more enthusiastic and enjoyed visiting the Children's Services section of the library, which also contributed to developing their creativity.
