This study aims to examine the influence of human resource management quality on the performance of contractor companies in North Sumatra. The proposed hypothesis suggests a positive relationship between human resource quality and the performance of contractor companies. A total of 24 respondents from six contractor companies were selected as samples using the probability sampling method.
The research findings indicate a significant influence of human resource quality on company performance. This is evidenced by the hypothesis test results, which show a t-calculated value of 10.785, exceeding the t-table value of 2.074. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected, confirming that human resource management quality has a significant impact on the performance of contractor companies in North Sumatra.
Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that human resource management quality contributes 84.1% to the performance of contractor companies, while the remaining 15.9% is influenced by other factors. Therefore, improving human resource management quality is recommended to enhance the performance of contractor companies.
