Organizational commitment to teachers is a key factor in improving the quality of
education. One of the factors that influence this commitment is teacher efficacy,
which refers to teachers' beliefs in their ability to manage teaching and learning
activities. This study aims to analyze the role of teacher efficacy in organizational
commitment at SD St. Antonius I and II in Medan. The research method used is a
causal quantitative approach. The subjects of the study consist of 40 teachers from
SD St. Antonius I and II, using the total sampling method. Data collection was
carried out using the teacher efficacy scale and organizational commitment scale,
then analyzed with simple linear regression using JASP software. The results of the
analysis show that teacher efficacy has a significant role in organizational
commitment, as indicated by the significance value p = 0.041 (p < 0.05). This shows
that the higher the role of teacher efficacy, the higher the organizational
commitment of the teachers.
