    Abstract
This research discusses illocutionary speech acts in the song lyrics of Nissa Sabyan and Adam Ali. In a song there are lyrics in the form of a message that the songwriter wants to convey. To understand a song you must know the meaning of the song's lyrics so as not to cause confusion regarding the meaning of the song being said and so that it can be understood well. The aim of the research is to identify the classification and types of illocutionary speech acts contained in the song lyrics. This literature research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection uses the listening method and note-taking techniques, and data analysis uses the matching method. The theory used is the classification of illocutionary speech acts proposed by Searle and types of illocutionary speech acts compiled by Wijana. The research results show that there are 122 illocutionary utterances from 5 classifications of illocutionary speech acts, namely: 62 assertive, 2 directive, 5 commissive, 52 expressive, and 1 declarative, then it was found that there were 116 types of direct literal speech acts and 6 indirect types of literal speech acts. From the three song lyrics, the most dominant classification and type of illocutionary speech act was obtained, namely the classification of assertive speech acts and the type of direct literal speech acts as well as the use of reduplication of words in several of the song lyrics that are spoken, generally aimed at informing and emphasizing that you always miss while praising the figure who deserves to be missed namely Rasulullah SAW.
