    Abstract
Electrical energy requirements are very important for human life. Many activities require electrical energy such as in the household and industrial sectors. To meet domestic energy needs, Indonesia is still very dependent on the availability of fossil energy, 94.3% of the total national energy needs are contributed by fossil energy. Therefore, the development of new and renewable energy (EBT) must be further improved. The method used in descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Descriptive research is research conducted by describing existing phenomena, both currently and in the past. The quantitative approach is an approach that is carried out using structured numbers, statistical processing, and controlled experiments. The results of the study using aspen plus software simulation show that with exergy analysis, the value and location of irreversibility and exergy efficiency values are obtained for each component. The effect of environmental temperatures of 15⁰C, 16⁰C, 17⁰C, 18⁰C on the exergy destruction value are 263579.736 kW, 261425.9452 kW, 259798.9729 kW, 258182.523 kW, Optimization of the main condenser vacuum pressure by changing the vacuum pressure range of 0.057 bar-0.137 bar. There is the largest irreversibility value located in the separator component with a value of 151,226.3 kW and the largest exergy efficiency value of each component is located in the demister component with an efficiency of 99.6%, the irreversibility value is inversely proportional to the increasing environmental temperature that affects system, that the more vacuum the main condenser pressure can increase the turbine output power and overall exergy efficiency.
