    Abstract
The Geothermal Power Plant is a renewable energy source that plays a crucial role in electricity generation with low carbon emissions. However, geothermal energy utilization has primarily focused on electricity production, while the potential use of residual energy for hydrogen production remains underdeveloped. Hydrogen is a clean energy source with significant potential to support the transition toward sustainable energy. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the potential for hydrogen production at the Geo Dipa Energi Unit 1 Dieng geothermal power plant using Aspen Plus simulation software. The methodology employed in this study involves thermodynamic modeling to simulate the integration of a hydrogen production system with an operational geothermal power plant. Simulations are conducted under various optimization scenarios, including the utilization of condensate from the power plant to support electrolysis and thermochemical reforming processes. Several operational parameters, such as pressure, temperature, and working fluids, are analyzed to identify optimal conditions for hydrogen production. The findings of this study confirm that using Aspen Plus software to analyze hydrogen production through electrolysis in a geothermal power plant can be an effective approach to improving system efficiency and energy conversion. Consequently, the implementation of this technology can support the advancement of renewable energy and the decarbonization of the energy sector on a broader scale.
