    Abstract
    CV. Chandra Mebel is a business that operates in the manufacturing sector of the Mebel industry. CV. Chandra Mebel often experiences excess inventory (overstock). This results in a buildup of goods in the warehouse and causes damage to the quality of raw materials. This research aims to estimate the correct number of raw material orders, estimate the amount of reserve raw materials and compare the total inventory costs incurred between actual conditions and the proposed method. The methods used are Single Exponential Smoothing, Monte Carlo and Continuous Review (s,S) Systems which start from demand forecasting then calculating inventory policies. The results of the research show that the Single Exponential Smoothing method is categorized as very good in predicting demand for wood raw materials and by using the continuous review (s, S) systems method, the optimal number of raw material orders is 52 m3 with a reserve raw material of 1 m3 and the resulting total inventory costs were Rp 1.106.003.394 and experienced savings of 4.4% or Rp 49.836.606 from the total actual condition costs of Rp 1.155.840.000. This research is expected to help determine the optimal number of raw material orders, the amount of reserve raw materials, and the maximum inventory level needed to prevent overstock conditions, and is expected to minimize total inventory costs.
