Music is something that will never be separated from humans. Music plays a role in translating all human desires in the form of beauty that gives inner satisfaction to the listener. This phenomenon shows how great the potential and enthusiasm of the Indonesian people in music, especially for urban communities. This potential and enthusiasm are not only in the capacity as a music lover, but the interest in learning music is evident from the many learning institutions both formal and non-formal that have sprung up and are in great demand by the community, especially in big cities. The existence of supporting places in musical activities such as rehearsal studios, recording studios, halls and auditoriums, musical instrument shops to learning institutions is proof. These places are easily found in Indonesia, especially in big cities like Medan. However, Medan does not yet have one place that provides various supporting functions for these musical activities. Music Center will be designed as a place to channel talent, interest and appreciation of music more deeply with the aim of improving the ability in the field of music as a hobby or profession. With a contemporary architectural approach, the Music Center will be designed following the development of technology from various sides and created in a form that is expressive, dynamic and has its own character.en_US
