dc.description.abstractAt the moment, the demand for fried oil in the global market is very high, as is Indonesia, where the demand is growing every day and the fried petroleum market in Indonesia is dominated by palm coconut oil. The plantations that this individual owns usually produce only the raw fruit of the palm tree without any processing. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to make a semi-mechanical palm processing device into a crude palm oil (CPO) where this tool functions to crushed the palm with a knife inside it that is driven by a propulsion motor which will produce CPO. The results indicate that the effective capacity of the palm oil processing equipment is 127.40 kg/hour. The average yield obtained when using this equipment is 16.22%. Fuel consumption is 2.56 l/hour. For the economic analysis, the Break-Even Point (BEP) value obtained 11,964.71 kg/year. The NPV at an interest rate of 6% is 15,411,655.45 IDR/ year, and at an interest rate of 20%, the NPV is -646,364.07IDR. The IRR obtained is 19.44%, This tool is very helpful for palm oil farmers in producing crude oil, as it has a higher economic yield compared to just selling fresh fruit bunches or raw palm fruit.en_US
