    Abstract
This research describes the process of designing, making, and testing a static torque measuring instrument for rotational drive motors based on NodeMCU ESP8266. Static torque measurement on a rotational motor is an important parameter in evaluating motor performance by developing a simple, accurate, and efficient static torque measurement system. This system utilizes a load cell sensor to detect the force generated by the motor and convert it into a torque value. The NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller is used to process data from sensors and display measurement results. This tool works on the principle of measuring the force generated by the motor on the moment arm, which is then converted into a torque value by the load cell sensor. A calibration method is performed to improve measurement accuracy. The results show that the static torque measuring instrument developed has a high level of accuracy and precision. The comparison shows that the difference in measurement results is significant, with a small standard deviation. Where the average measurement based on the designed measuring instrument is 9.76 kg.cm and the manual calculation result is 9.77 kg.cm with an average measurement error of 1.52%. The measurement data is processed by a microcontroller and displayed in real-time through a user-friendly interface. The test results show that the developed system is able to measure torque with fairly good accuracy, and has the potential to be applied to various types of rotational motors in industry.
