    Abstract
The implementation of Interprofessional Education (IPE) requires a clear commitment to ensure that interprofessional learning can be conducted across educational institutions and incorporated into healthcare service curricula. However, it is known that readiness for IPE among students can be influenced by factors such as self-efficacy and emotional intelligence. This study aims to examine the relationship between self-efficacy and emotional intelligence with readiness for IPE among nursing students. This research employs a quantitative observational approach with a cross-sectional design. The population consists of all sixth-semester nursing students at Universitas Sumatera Utara, totaling 89 individuals, who were also used as the sample. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire with a four-point Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with a 95% confidence level (p < 0.05). The results show that most respondents have moderate self-efficacy, moderate emotional intelligence, and moderate IPE readiness. There is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and IPE readiness, but no significant relationship between emotional intelligence and IPE readiness. Based on these findings, it is recommended that nursing education programs enhance the quality of IPE implementation so that nursing graduates can effectively coordinate with other healthcare professionals in performing their duties and responsibilities in healthcare services.
