This study aims to determine the effect of using several growth regulators and sucrose in MS media on the induction of white turmeric shoots (Curcuma zedoaria Roscoe) in vitro. This research was conducted at the Alifa Agricultural Research Center (ALIFA-ARC) Laboratory from April to August. The experimental design used in this study was a Complete Randomized Design arranged in a single factor, namely the media composition consisting of BAP 1.5 ppm + Sucrose 5%, BAP 2 ppm + Sucrose 3%, BAP 1.5 ppm + NAA 0.05 ppm, BA 5 ppm, BAP 2 ppm + TDZ 1.5 ppm and TDZ 1.5 ppm + Sucrose 4%. The parameters observed were the age of shoot emergence, number of shoots, shoot length and number of leaves. The research results showed that the TDZ 1.5 ppm + 4% Sucrose treatment gave the best results in inducing white turmeric shoots, namely it could produce a better number of shoots, number of leaves, shoot length and plantlet height compared to media containing other growth regulators.en_US
