    Abstract
    Pharmacist Professional Internship (PKPA) at Prof. Dr. H. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Hospital, University of North Sumatra was implemented on September 9 - November 13, 2024. This PKPA was implemented with the aim of preparing and equipping prospective pharmacists to understand the duties, responsibilities, skills and expertise needed by a pharmacist in a hospital and providing an opportunity for prospective pharmacists to see firsthand the management of the Hospital Pharmacy Installation and the implementation of pharmaceutical services in the hospital. This aims to ensure that prospective pharmacists are able to understand the problems of the Pharmacy Installation and are able to practice pharmacy professionally in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and professional rules. PKPA activities carried out at Prof. Dr. H. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis Hospital, University of North Sumatra include the management of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and disposable medical materials (BMHP), and providing hospital clinical pharmacy services. The clinical pharmacy services provided consist of outpatient care, inpatient care, operating room depot (OK), IGD depot, chemotherapy depot, and warehouse. Pharmaceutical supplies and hospital clinical pharmacy services carried out by the pharmacy installation are in accordance with statutory regulations and have been implemented, except for clinical pharmacy services for Monitoring of Drug Levels in Blood (PKOD).
