dc.description.abstractThis research aims to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment and work discipline on the performance of employees at the Aceh Jaya Regency Education Service. This research is quantitative associative research. The population in this research sample was 40 people with a total of 40 people in the research. Sample determination was carried out using the saturated sample method. Research data was obtained through interviews and distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The research show that Work Environment test have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance and Work Discipline has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. The results of the F test show that the Work Environment and Work Discipline together have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. The coefficient of determination (R2) shows that employee performance can be explained by independent variables, namely Work Environment and Work Discipline, amounting to 42.4 percent, while 57.6 percent of welfare is explained by other factors outside this research model. Therefore, the Department of Education and Culture still has to improve the work environment, both physical and non-physical, by completing and fixing damaged office facilities such as inadequate lighting, untidy layout and maintaining relationships between co-workers, both superiors and subordinates, as well as always uphold discipline and comply with regulations in accordance with applicable normsen_US
