    Report on the Professional Work Practice of Pharmacists at Government Agencies at The Food and Drug Supervisory Agency of the Republic Indonesia Jakarta

    Abstract
    Objective: Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) at BPOM RI for Pharmacist Education Study Program students aims to increase pharmacist candidates' understanding of the roles, functions and responsibilities of pharmacists in BPOM RI, equip prospective pharmacists to have insight, knowledge, skills and practical experience to carry out pharmaceutical work at BPOM RI. Implementation Date: PKPA at the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency was held on March 4, 2024-28, 2024. Number of Effective Hours: PKPA activities are carried out every Monday to Thursday at 08.00-16.30 WIB and Friday at 08.00-16.00 WIB. However, during the fasting month, working hours are reduced to Monday to Thursday at 08.00-15.00 WIB and Friday at 08.00-15.30 WIB. According to this schedule, the number of effective hours for students to participate in PKPA at the POM Agency is 134.5 hours. PKPA Activities: The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice implementation at the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency on March 4-6, 2024 began with a pre-test, then a general lecture on the main tasks and functions of various deputies and centers at the POM Agency. On March 7-25, 2024, students conducted PKPA in their respective work units. PKPA activities in the Center for Food and Drug Policy Analysis work unit began with a direction from the PKPA supervisor at BPOM then presentation and discussion of activities from 4 work teams at the Center for Food and Drug Policy Analysis, namely the mapping and statistics work team; policy research and evaluation work team; research and program review work team; and leadership strategic support work team. During the PKPA in the Center for Food and Drug Policy Analysis unit, students are given special assignments related to the activities of the Center for Food and Drug Policy Analysis. Then the PKPA activity ended with a presentation by PKPA students regarding activities during PKPA in each work unit of the POM Agency and a post test on March 26-28, 2024.
