Abstract

Background: The pharmaceutical industry is a business entity that is authorized in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations to engage in the manufacturing of drugs or pharmaceutical ingredients. Objective: The objective of this report is to enhance the understanding of prospective pharmacists regarding the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (CPOB) and to provide insights, knowledge, skills, and practical experience in pharmaceutical work within the pharmaceutical industry. Method: This report was prepared using a qualitative approach, which includes the collection of information regarding the roles, functions, and responsibilities of pharmacists in pharmaceutical services within the pharmaceutical industry. Results: Prospective pharmacists have gained an understanding of the roles, functions, positions, and responsibilities of pharmacists. They have also comprehended the aspects of CPOB that have been implemented at PT. Kalbio Global Medika. Additionally, prospective pharmacists have received a general overview of the activities at PT. Kalbio Global Medika, which includes quality assurance, production, and quality control. Conclusion: PT. Kalbio Global Medika has implemented aspects in accordance with CPOB requirements, which include quality systems, production, and quality control.
